Payment is accepted through Paypal.com Note that when you use a credit card to pay via paypal, Kate Tracton Designs does not get access to your personal information (eg, credit card number, bank account) - paypal keeps that confidential. We find out that Paypal has paid us by email which includes the order number generated from our web site.

Retail Policies

  1. An e-mail confirmation of your order will indicate the approximate delivery date and a confirmed price. If you are paying by check/paypal, payment is due when this confirmation message is received. No order will be processed before e-mail confirmation!
  2. We will typically ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. When paypal notifies us of payment confirmation your order will ship. If there will be an unforeseen delay in shipping your order, we will notify you through email of the expected revised shipping date.
  3. Free shipping within the continental US and Canada through United States Postal Service, Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. Insurance is optional and costs 2% of purchase price.
  4. At this time only US personal checks and Paypal are acceptable. If your check does not clear, you pay our bank fees. No cash, please. Our Paypal account is "verified".
  5. Returns: check with us first, as many returns are simply a matter of miscommunication. You may return items in excellent condition within 7 days of shipment. You pay return postage and should pack it well and insure it.
  6. Quality is guaranteed, colors are not: sometimes computer displays show a different color than the actual item.
  7. Lost in shipping: USPS insurance is available at about standard rates (2% of purchase price). If you do not insure your shipping we will help as much as possible to find your items but cannot ultimately be responsible for lost items.
  8. Typographical errors: we use care in preparing this information but errors do occur and computers do fail. We are not responsible for these.

Privacy Statement

We respect the privacy of your transactions.

  1. No information about you or your purchases will willingly be disclosed to uninvolved third parties, to the extent of the law. We do not exchange information about shoppers with marketing agencies, and you will get no e-mail from us that you did not solicit (AKA "spam").
  2. We do not use security techniques such as SSL encryption or certificates at this time because we neither collect credit card information via the internet nor keep this information on any computer.   3. In the future, you may sign up ("opt in") to be notified of announcements of new products, artists or vendor shows that may be of interest to you but it will be clearly marked as such with no other mailings involved. Currently we only maintain a US postal mailing list, not an email list.
